Tommy Garofalo - Founder

Tommy founded Community Run Camps in early 2022 after individually running a successful camp in his hometown of Bronxville. Tommy has recently transferred from Franklin & Marshall after earning Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year Honors. He now plays for the nationally ranked Boston University Men’s Lacrosse Team and he is in the Questrom Business School. Tommy has made youth lacrosse a priority, after returning from college he has made significant efforts to stay involved with Bronxville’s Youth and Varsity programs.

Chris Patterson - Co Founder & Director

Helped to create Community Run Camps in 2022 and currently plans and organizes events. He is now a member of the lacrosse team at the University of Pennsylvania after transferring from Hobart College. As a Freshman at Hobart he earned A10 Conference All-Rookie Honors after being selected 4x for A10 Rookie of the Week. Chris has made consistent efforts to give back in Bronxville by assisting with the youth program.

Coulter Mackesy - Camp Director (Greenwich / Upper Westchester)

Coulter is currently a senior on the Men’s Lacrosse Team at Princeton University. He attended Brunswick Highschool prior to attending Princeton. As a Junior for the Tigers, Coulter was named a 2nd Team All American and was nominated for the Tewaaraton Award. He enjoys giving back to the youth programs in Greenwich and his hometown of Bronxville.

Will Delagarza - Upstate Boys Co-Director

Will, a junior on the Boston University Men’s Lacrosse Team, captained Salisbury School to the 2022 GEICO National Championship. Previously, he earned All-Frontier League honors at Watertown High and was a senior captain in varsity soccer. He stays involved with Watertown’s youth program and offers private lessons.

Tyler Fox - Fairfield County Program Director

Three-year starter for Fairfield Prep … Named a 2023 USA Lacrosse All-American and earned conference player of the year honors as a senior … Two-time first team all-state and all-conference selection … Coached Fairfield Youth Lacrosse and provided private instruction, helping develop the next generation of players in the community.

Caden Whaling - Rye Boys Program Director

Attended Rye High School, where he played four years for coach Steve Lennon. He was a two-time All-American, and First Team All-State performer. At Rye, Caden was a two-time captain, three-time Section One Champion and holds the record for career points. Caden is currently a Junior at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill .

Lilly Whaling - Rye Girls Program Director

Lilly brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to Community Run Camps, both as a player and a leader. She served as captain of her high school lacrosse team for two years, where she was the leading scorer and played a pivotal role in her team’s success. A two-time US Lacrosse All-American, Lilly was recognized as the Lohud Putnam/Westchester County Player of the Year and earned All-Section and All-League honors four times. She is currently a Freshman on the Cornell Women’s Lacrosse Team.

Tim Shannehan - Fairfield County Program Director

Played varsity lacrosse at Fairfield Prep … Named 2024 USA Lacrosse Magazine Northeast Player of the Year after leading Fairfield to a state championship … Set a school single-season record with 134 points (73 goals, 61 assists) as a senior … Earned first team all-state and all-conference honors … 2024 GameTimeCT Player of the Year … Graduated as Fairfield Prep’s all-time leading scorer with 338 career points … Also active in the Fairfield Prep community, volunteering time to support youth programs and local outreach initiatives.

Evan Richardson - Upstate Boys Co-Director

Evan currently is a Junior at West Point on the Nationally Ranked lacrosse team. Evan attended Watertown HS where he was the All North MVP his senior year. He was also the Varsity lacrosse & soccer captain at Watertown High School. He enjoys giving back to the youth program in Watertown.

Charlie Howard - Fairfield County Program Director

Played varsity lacrosse at Staples High School … Two-time USA Lacrosse All-American (2021, 2022) … Led Staples to the 2022 state championship, setting school records with 95 points and 60 goals as a senior … Graduated as the program’s all-time points leader with 213 … Two-time first team all-state and all-conference selection … Also earned honorable mention all-conference as a freshman … Coached for Westport Youth Lacrosse and gave private lessons
